204 York St
New Haven, CT 06520
Event description:

Join in for a fun night of Russian music and songs to celebrate the end of the semester and the end of Benya’s tenure in the Troika of YANIS/Yale Club of Russian Students. Just as in our Karaoke event last year, we will feature everyone’s favorite songs in former Soviet Union languages such as Russian, Ukrainian, and Belarussian (WARNING: No English language songs allowed), but we will just be playing the music, not singing to it (dancing is encouraged). This should open up new musical opportunities as many songs don’t have Karaoke versions. Come to relax with friends, great music and delicious snacks.  The event is free with support from McDougal Graduate Student Life, GSAS.

Example featured artists: Бурановские Бабушки (Buranovskiye Babushki), Пугачёва (Pugacheva, Benya’s favorite), Киркоров (Kirkorov), Академия (Academia), Сердючка (Serduchka, pictured above).
Please RSVP on our Facebook page, OrgSync, and/or via email to me.
