Event description:

Sign up for the Russian and Eastern European Passover Seder co-led by Juli Goodman and Benya on March 31st (Saturday evening) at the Slifka Center! See https://slifkacenter.org/religious-life/passover/ for details (and sign up for a Friday Seder). Free for students (including graduate and professional)! Here’s the information:

Eastern European Jews came to the United States from a variety of places and over many different time periods. While shifting and assimilating our identities, we’ve kept our own traditions: our languages, a love of Pushkin, and delicious foods from former Soviet national republics. In this Seder, we will come together as Jews, Russian-speakers, immigrants, and everything in between, and bond over the parts of our unique identity that make us different from the rest of the American Jewish community, as well as the parts of our heritage that we share with our Jewish peers. No knowledge of the Russian language or Soviet background required! Everyone is welcome!
